Community College SWP

In 2016, California established the Strong Workforce Program (SWP) to help community colleges across the state create and strengthen CTE projects. Career Technical Education (CTE) programs are designed to prepare students for living-wage careers and boost the state’s economy at the same time.

EducateX staff has been actively working with local and regional SWP since Round 1 (2016-17). We are proficient in NOVA. We understand the importance of monitoring legislative changes and guidance from the California Community College Chancellor’s Office. We attend relevant professional development and conferences and apply knowledge and expertise to our clients’ projects.

Apprenticeships

EducateX assists with creating the structure of new apprenticeship programs. We convene industry and educational stakeholders and help write and submit DOL and DAS standards. We help colleges and K-12 schools implement new pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship programs. We can also assist with grant writing to secure and manage planning and implementation funds.
